Re:Views (updated)

Thinking of a master plan…

It involves two kinds of viewing.

UPDATE: Here’s a video I just uploaded. From October 2016.

I’m putting together another page where you can view video featuring yours truly. The content will consist primarily of lectures, keynotes, and interviews in which I’ve participated, but rest assured: there will be birds.

Meanwhile: I’m grateful beyond measure for the thought and care readers have put into Speculative Blackness. The latest review was just published in American Literary History (via their online review series). Here it goes!

XVJones-American Literary History

If you haven’t read the book or want to recommend it to someone, this review is a great place to start. You’ll know what you’re in for, thanks to Esther Jones’s attentive treatment here.

One reason I value reviews so much is that I’ve been doing them, one way or another, for quite some time. I haven’t published a book review in a minute, but recently I had the good fortune to write a blurb for the superb book, Racial Worldmaking: The Power of Popular Fiction, by Mark Jerng. It’s legit.
